About Team Still I Run

Team Still I Run is our peer-to-peer fundraising platform. You can choose between one of our in-person Charity Partnership events (TSIR) or Bring Your Own Bib to a Virtual Event (BYOB).

BYOB Team Still I Run is the option to run any race at any time and fundraise for Still I Run. Want to run your local 5K and raise funds for Team Still I Run? You can! Just sign up and then apply to be a part of BYOB TSIR.

Team Still I Run is a team that is a part of a Charity Race Partnership. These partnerships allow us to put together a team of individuals that all run the same race together. Fundraising minimums are different for this and you do receive a few additional perks. We’ll also have Team Still I Run staff and volunteers at the race to greet you and be a part of your race weekend. Additionally, we will try to put together a team event during race weekend, so everyone can meet one another!

Do I have to fundraise a certain amount to be a part of Team Still I Run?

Every race we do has different fundraising minimums. Please look at the specific fundraising requirements on our race event pages.

If you would like to fundraise for Still I Run at any race of your choice, we do ask that you raise at least $250. Once you raise $250, you’ll get a Team Still I Run shirt to wear on race day!

What happens if I do not reach my required fundraising minimum by the deadline?

For the teams we assemble for various charity race partnerships, we do set specific fundraising minimums. If you do not reach your required fundraising minimum, as outlined in the Runner Agreement we have you sign, you will be charged the difference.

Do I get a free race bib when I’m accepted onto Team Still I Run for one of the races Still I Run has a charity partnership with?

It depends. Every charity partnership we have with a race is different. Please look at the specific perks for the race you’re interested in on our race event pages.

Am I required to wear my Team Still I Run shirt on race day?

No, you are not required to, but we highly recommend you do so! Not only will it help spread mental health awareness out on the race course, but if it’s an event that our staff is at, we’ll be able to spot you easier!

Does my fundraising requirement include travel and lodging?

No, all participants are responsible for booking and paying for their travel and accommodations for race weekend.

Will Still I Run help me find a hotel to stay at during race weekend?

Generally Still I Run will suggest an area to look for hotels, but where you decide to stay is ultimately up to you.

What if I already purchased or gained entry to a race you're a charity partner for? Can I still join the team?

ABSOLUTELY! We do still ask that you fundraise like your teammates, but your minimum requirement will be different.

Where can I mail checks/offline donations?

We understand that sometimes donors want to give via check. That’s OK! Checks can be mailed to:

I’m new to fundraising and need some help. What support can I expect to receive from Still I Run?

When you run for Team Still I Run, you are given a link to a robust fundraising guide and social media graphics for your use. The Team also communicates via GroupMe. This is where we share fundraising tips and hints with one another (as well as just general community building with your team mates!) Note: GroupMe is not used for BYOB TSIR)

What do I need to plan/schedule for during race weekend?

Getting Team Still I Run members and volunteers together is one of the best parts of race weekend! Given the uniqueness of each race, we will provide specific guidance about meet-ups and events via email, so that you can plan ahead accordingly.

What happens if the race is canceled?

Cancellation policies may vary by race, so we will provide specific guidance via email. We also encourage you to check out the specific race’s cancellation policy on their race website.

What happens if I can no longer run the race?

Per the signed runner agreement we ask all runners to sign, you are responsible for your fundraising requirement regardless of unexpected injury, illness, or ability to attend race weekend. If you have an unforeseen circumstance please reach out as soon as possbile and we will do our best to work with you but cannot guarantee bib transfer or deferral as a possibility.
